Started by Sir Peter in 1983 in California on a square mile of volcanic terrain that forms the western face of Mount St. Helena, the Peter Michael Winery is known for their mountainside vineyards, and handcrafted wines which have distinctive flavors and aromas.

We were asked to redesign their website to better communicate the winery's essential components: the legacy, the land, and the people.

Our approach allows users to visit the winery virtually and navigate their way through the eight vineyards by elevation or a satellite view.

The site narrates the story behind each of the fifteen wines with information for both wine novices and also connoisseurs, including pronunciation recorded by the family themselves.
